Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Corporate Governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and formalize corporate governance efforts and provide consultative support to the Corporate Secretary's Office and senior management
• Research and advise on corporate governance strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices
• Oversee the maintenance of corporate records and manage governance support staff, ensuring timely completion of governance-related tasks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• At least 10 years of experience in a corporate governance or related environment
• Minimum of 7 years managing corporate governance matters
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role managing people
• Experience with corporate governance in regulated insurance companies is preferred
