Corporate Governance Director

Job Summary

Providing strategic leadership in a remote capacity, the full-time Corporate Governance Director will oversee corporate governance operations, advise senior leadership and the board on governance practices, and lead a team of governance professionals to enhance organizational integrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and evolution of the corporate governance operations strategy and framework
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of board and committee materials, and oversee governance processes across subsidiaries
• Coach and develop a team of corporate governance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; JD or relevant post-graduate degree preferred
• 7-10 years of experience in a corporate governance role, including 3+ years managing governance professionals
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance frameworks and regulatory requirements
• Experience managing boards and working with legal teams on governance matters
• Proven track record in change management and process improvement
