Corporate IT Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the automation strategy for a modern IT function, the full-time Corporate IT Automation Engineer will build integrations, scripts, and AI agents to replace manual IT processes, while mentoring system administrators in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and automate high-volume IT processes such as ticket triage, onboarding, and access requests
• Design and implement workflow automation within the IT service management platform, including integration with various systems
• Mentor team members in automation practices, fostering a culture of shared responsibility for automation across the IT team

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT engineering, systems administration, DevOps, or IT automation
• Strong scripting skills in Python and/or Bash, with experience in REST APIs and webhooks
• Hands-on experience with Jira Service Management and core SaaS IT systems, including Google Workspace and Okta
• Experience with Google Cloud Vertex AI for building and operating AI workloads
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as n8n, Zapier, or Tines
