Corporate Legal Counsel

Job Summary

Serving as the organization's on-site legal advisor, the full-time Corporate Legal Counsel will provide legal guidance on business transactions, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance while working remotely, preferably within the EST time zone.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted legal advisor to senior leadership on strategic business initiatives and enterprise risk
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements and legal documents while ensuring organizational compliance
• Partner cross-functionally with various stakeholders to support business objectives and manage external counsel as needed

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• 5-10 years of relevant corporate legal experience, preferably in-house
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, contracts, and regulatory compliance
• Demonstrated ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
