Corporate Legal Operations Executive

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote SVP Corporate Legal, this role will manage legal operations, compliance, and vendor relationships while building scalable systems and workflows to enhance departmental efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee corporate legal billing, manage outside counsel spend, and implement systems for legal spend optimization
• Support compliance frameworks and monitor adherence to federal and state regulations while maintaining relevant policies and training documentation
• Manage relationships with outside counsel and legal vendors, ensuring efficient engagement and performance standards

Required qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with an active bar membership preferred
• 8-15+ years of legal experience, focusing on legal operations and corporate legal management
• Demonstrated experience in compliance, commercial litigation, and vendor management
• Background in private lending, financial services, or fintech strongly preferred
• Strong project management skills with a comprehensive understanding of U.S. legal and regulatory frameworks
