Corporate M&A Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel - Mergers and Acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of domestic and international M&A and strategic transactions, including drafting agreements and performing due diligence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and coordinate with outside counsel to execute M&A transactions
• Oversee corporate governance matters and provide legal advice on tax matters related to reorganizations

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar
• Minimum of 9 years of experience as a corporate attorney with expertise in M&A
• Experience supervising legal professionals and managing projects
• Knowledge of corporate law, including anti-trust laws and regulatory procedures
• Familiarity with the healthcare industry is a plus but not required
