Corporate M&A Legal Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal M&A and Corporate Legal Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic transactions, advise on structuring, coordinate due diligence, negotiate agreements, and manage outside counsel
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage deal-related risks and refine deal strategies during transactions
• Drive improvements in deal processes, oversee subsidiary management, and assist with corporate governance and financing matters

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of significant corporate law and M&A experience at a well-regarded law firm; in-house experience is a plus
• Experience working with technology companies
• Breadth of corporate law experience across governance and financing matters
• JD or equivalent from a top-tier law school; qualified to practice in CA, FL, or other U.S. jurisdictions
• Unquestioned integrity and excellent judgment
