Job Summary
A company is looking for a Corporate Safety Manager to design, develop, and implement safety policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer safety policies to establish a culture of health and safety
- Plan, organize, and implement safety management programs; evaluate effectiveness
- Investigate and report accidents to determine causes and preventative measures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (B.S. or B.A.) from a four-year college or university, preferably in a safety-related field
- Five years of direct experience and/or training in safety management
- Ability to conduct safety audits and inspections
- Experience in developing and maintaining safety-related procedures and programs
- Certification as a Safety Professional (CSP) is preferred
