Job Summary
The full-time salaried Head of Corporate, Securities and M&A Attorney will lead the corporate legal practice, managing public company reporting, corporate governance, and M&A transactions while collaborating closely with executive leadership and various departments.
Key responsibilities
- Lead internal legal processes for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
- Manage public company reporting and securities compliance, including preparation of necessary filings
- Advise on corporate governance matters and support Board and committee meetings
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active membership in a U.S. state bar
- 10+ years of relevant legal experience in corporate governance and securities law
- At least 4 years of in-house legal experience at a public company
- Strong knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and corporate compliance processes
- Experience managing legal support for complex corporate transactions
