Job Summary
Leading the corporate legal function, the full-time salaried Director of Corporate, Securities and M&A will manage public company reporting, corporate governance, and M&A transactions while collaborating closely with various departments, with the option for remote work available.
Key responsibilities
- Lead legal support for public company reporting and securities compliance, including various SEC filings
- Advise on corporate governance matters and support Board and committee meetings
- Oversee the internal legal process for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active membership in a U.S. state bar
- 10+ years of relevant legal experience, including significant experience in corporate governance and public company reporting
- At least 4 years of in-house legal experience at a public company
- Strong knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and securities laws
- Experience managing legal support for M&A and complex corporate transactions
