Cost Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cost Accountant to manage operational costs and contribute to financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and track operational costs to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Manage the invoicing process with co-manufacturers and support budget and forecast activities
• Analyze general ledger variances and assist with ad hoc projects as needed

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience at a CPG manufacturing company
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with NetSuite
• Knowledge of GAAP and its implications
• BS or BA in Finance, Accounting, or other analytical field preferred
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus
