Cost Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cost Accountant to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting accurately and on time
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, including SOX compliance
• Establish standard costs and maintain inventory controls across various facilities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or 3-5 years of cost accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Excel, cost accounting, and financial analysis
• Experience with GAAP and other financial reporting standards is preferred
• Experience using BPCS and/or SAP is a plus
