Cost Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cost Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists in year-end audit preparations and investigates auditors' questions
• Analyzes and reports on processing costs, variances, and trends in expense accounts
• Maintains the standard cost system and develops standard costs for manufactured and subcontractor items

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with knowledge of product costing and variance analysis
• Familiarity with computerized accounting systems, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office
• Experience with QAD system and F9 preferred
• Well-organized and self-motivated
