Cost Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cost Accountant for a temporary project-based engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and maintain standard costs, including updates and variance analysis
• Review and reconcile inventory, COGS, and related accounts
• Generate and analyze cost reports, providing insights to leadership

Qualifications

• Strong cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or product-based environment
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite (required)
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
