Cost Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting the organization's manufacturing and inventory accounting processes, the full-time Cost Accountant will manage cost analysis, financial reporting, and inventory valuation while collaborating with various operational teams to enhance data-driven decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Support month-end close processes and prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Analyze inventory metrics and assist in maintaining internal controls and compliance procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to present financial analysis and recommendations to management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
• Demonstrated experience in manufacturing cost accounting and financial reporting
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle Fusion
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate financial analysis effectively to business leaders
