Cost Accountant II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cost Accountant II.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare month-end accrual entries based on information gathered from assigned functional area
• Review and analyze monthly, quarterly, and year-end operating reports with mill leadership teams
• Analyze actual manufacturing costs and compare against established budgeted costs, proposing updates when necessary

Required Qualifications:

• 2 to 3 years' professional accounting experience or equivalent
• Demonstrated knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Knowledge of plant manufacturing environment and processes
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet regular deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
