Cost Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cost Accounting Manager to lead inventory and manufacturing accounting activities across multiple teams and sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead global cost, inventory, and manufacturing accounting activities ensuring consistent technical accounting application
• Own month-end close execution, balance sheet governance, and prepare, review, and approve journal entries and accounting documentation
• Drive continuous improvement through SOP creation and standardization of close and control processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7-12+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting, cost accounting, or operations finance
• Experience leading teams and reviewing work products such as reconciliations and journal entries
• Strong understanding of accruals, reconciliations, reserves, and inventory valuation
• CPA and/or CMA strongly preferred
