Cost Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cost Accounting Manager to oversee inventory costing and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day cost accounting, including inventory costing and bill of materials calculations
• Reconcile inventory accounts monthly and prepare COGS journal entries
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance inventory processes and oversee relevant system configurations

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cost accounting or inventory accounting
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, especially ASC 330 (Inventory)
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA license preferred
• Advanced Excel skills, including handling large datasets
