Cost Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Cost Accounting to oversee cost accounting and inventory valuation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the cost accounting team, ensuring high performance and professional growth
• Establish and maintain cost accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in cost accounting leadership
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost structures and ERP systems (NetSuite experience required)
• Experience designing and maintaining cost accounting internal controls
• Proficiency in Excel for complex financial modeling, including pivot tables and advanced formulas for cost analysis
