Cost Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of accounting professionals, the full-time remote Sr. Manager Global Cost Accounting will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with US GAAP, and drive continuous process improvement while collaborating with various business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise team operations related to inventory accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with accounting standards
• Implement effective processes for financial analysis and reporting, including variance analysis and footnote disclosures
• Develop strategic relationships with cross-functional teams to support month-end close activities and address financial reporting concerns

Required qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 2 years, Master's degree with 6 years, Bachelor's degree with 8 years, Associate's degree with 10 years, or High school diploma/GED with 12 years of accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role or leading teams and projects
• Comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting
• Experience with automation initiatives and project management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and familiarity with SAP or similar financial systems
