Cost Analyst

Job Summary

To support critical national security missions, the full-time remote Cost Analyst will develop, maintain, and defend Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs) and Program Office Estimates (POEs) while utilizing automated cost estimating tools and conducting data analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support custom cost data tools, ensuring quality control and process improvements
• Create and deliver well-documented cost estimates, assessing risks and schedules using standard cost estimating methods
• Analyze contractor cost estimates for consistency with government procedures and support acquisition-related activities

Required qualifications

• BS/BA with 21 semester hours in quantitative analysis courses and 3 semester hours of Calculus
• 7 years of relevant experience in cost estimating, with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience using cost estimating tools such as ACE-IT, SEER, or Unison's TruePlanning
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
• Proven ability to analyze data and develop cost-related program inputs for government activities
