Cost Analyst
Job Summary
To support national security interests, the full-time remote Cost Analyst will develop, update, and defend Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs) and Program Office Estimates (POEs) while utilizing ACE-IT and other cost estimating tools.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive cost estimates and assess risks and schedules
- Implement quality control measures and conduct process improvement initiatives for cost estimating products
- Analyze Program Contractor cost estimates to ensure consistency with government procedures and support cost-related activities in acquisition reporting
Required qualifications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
- BS/BA with 21 semester hours in quantitative analysis courses and 3 semester hours of Calculus
- 7 years of relevant cost estimating experience
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ACE-IT or similar cost estimating tools
- Strong analytical skills related to cost estimation processes
