Cost Basis Associate

Job Summary

Utilizing advanced cost basis expertise, the full-time Cost Basis Associate will provide superior client service on complex accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance while working remotely from locations such as Scottsdale, AZ or Valley Forge, PA.

Key responsibilities

• Reviews client requests for accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Calculates and maintains cost basis information for client holdings in accordance with IRS regulations
• Analyzes historical records to reconstruct and verify cost basis information

Required qualifications

• Prior experience in the brokerage industry is required
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent training and experience preferred
• Strong accounting or finance background preferred
• Brokerage product expertise preferred, with a focus on Corporate Actions and other specialized products
• Proficiency in computer skills and ability to learn proprietary software programs
