Cost Basis Business Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cost Basis Business Analyst - Tax & Regulatory (CONTRACT) to support cost basis processes and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document business requirements for tax reporting and regulatory compliance
• Serve as a subject matter expert on cost basis rules across various asset classes
• Collaborate with teams to implement regulatory changes and enhance reporting accuracy

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services or tax operations
• Strong knowledge of tax information reporting and regulatory requirements
• Experience with UAT, defect management, and validation of financial/tax reporting systems
• Proficiency with tools such as SQL, Excel, JIRA, and Confluence
