Cost Basis Financial Processor

Job Summary

To deliver superior client service on complex accounts, the full-time Financial Processor - Cost Basis will independently research, analyze, and execute processing strategies while providing guidance and training to team members, all in a remote capacity for candidates local to Scottsdale, AZ or Valley Forge, PA.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex client requests for accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines, collaborating across divisions for timely resolution
• Maintain precise cost basis data using proprietary systems, ensuring adherence to IRS regulations and internal procedures
• Analyze historical records to reconstruct and verify the accuracy of cost basis information while providing mentorship to team members

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience, preferably in accounting, finance, or the brokerage industry
• Knowledge of brokerage products with a willingness to learn about Corporate Actions, Options, Margin Accounting, Fixed Income, and Convertible Securities
• Strong analytical and research capabilities with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
