Job Summary
Working remotely, the entry-level Program Cost/Schedule Control Analyst I will set up cost control systems, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts, and prepare budgets and reports to ensure compliance with financial guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a cost control system while monitoring contract costs and schedules
- Prepare budgets, schedules, and financial analyses, including funding profiles and variance analysis
- Conduct schedule risk assessments and manage contractual changes to maintain accurate cost and schedule baselines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
- 0-3 years of related experience, demonstrating the ability to work independently
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel and intermediate proficiency in MS PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of financial account interdependencies and cost drivers
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and company proprietary data
