Cost Control Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting project teams in financial reporting and change management, the full-time Cost Control Engineer will oversee monthly financial project reports, manage change documentation, and ensure compliance with financial policies while working remotely in the Netherlands.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial project reports, including capital engineering and unforeseen expenses
• Lead monthly financial project reviews and maintain a change log for project documentation
• Collaborate with project managers to forecast total project expenditures and provide independent financial overviews

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
• Strong technical or engineering background preferred
• Over 10 years of experience in cost control for capital projects
• 5+ years of experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry is a plus
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English languages
