Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cost Estimator for a long-term contract opportunity with a remote work model.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and project management best practices
• Complete and submit Earned Value reports within the defined reporting period
• Maintain cost estimates with a variance of less than 5% between forecasted and actual project costs

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent project controls experience
• 5-10 years of experience on large development or Department of Energy (DOE) type projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Ability to quickly learn new software and processes
• Demonstrated experience in improving processes or systems for efficiency
