Cost Manager

Job Summary

Supporting project cost management on a part-time remote basis, the Cost Manager will manage planning, monitoring, analysis, forecasting, and reporting of all project costs associated with design contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project cost control systems, monitoring labor and expenditures against approved budgets
• Prepare and support weekly, monthly, and executive-level cost reports, including variance analyses and corrective action recommendations
• Coordinate client invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• 10-15 years of experience in project controls, cost management, financial analysis, or program management
• Experience with large infrastructure projects and client/subcontractor invoicing processes
• Strong capabilities in cost control, financial analysis, and knowledge of earned value management (EVM) principles
• Ability to analyze large datasets to identify trends and performance drivers
