Counterparty Risk Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Counterparty Risk Analyst (Operational).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence and underwriting of clients and counterparties, primarily in the solar and electrical contracting sectors
• Recommend internal disbursement schedules, risk-based limits, and prepare written analyses to substantiate assessments
• Conduct continuous monitoring of trading counterparties and collaborate with business partners to resolve client risks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years in solar installation operations and 1-3 years in counterparty risk management
• Experience in the solar industry at the finance level and understanding of contractor cash flow and pipeline management
• Prior experience covering the finance side of the solar industry is highly preferred
• Interest and understanding of contractor risk and complementary business verticals
• Excellent analytical and Excel skills, with experience in data visualization tools
