Counterparty Risk Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Counterparty Risk Analyst (Operational).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence and underwriting of clients and counterparties, primarily in the solar and electrical contracting sectors
• Recommend internal disbursement schedules and risk-based limits, and conduct continuous monitoring of trading counterparties
• Collaborate with business partners to resolve complex client risks and maintain risk SLAs for partner onboarding

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of solar installation operations experience in risk management
• 1-3 years of hands-on counterparty risk management experience
• Experience with the solar industry at the finance level and understanding of contractors' cash flow
• Interest in contractor risk and the solar industry
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools is preferred
