Job Summary
Evaluating and maintaining broker and correspondent relationships, the full-time remote Counterparty Risk Analyst will analyze applications and renewals while ensuring compliance with company standards and risk mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and approve new and renewal wholesale and correspondent accounts, ensuring compliance with documentation and financial standards
- Conduct due diligence reviews including licensing, KYC, credit reports, and financial statements
- Monitor sanctions alerts related to brokers and correspondent lenders, ensuring compliance resolution
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in mortgage banking, wholesale or correspondent lending, or financial services with a credit/risk focus
- Proficient in credit risk assessment, operational due diligence, and regulatory compliance
- Deep understanding of mortgage processes and broker/lender relationships
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Acrobat Pro, and DocuSign
