Job Summary
Supporting the litigation docket team, the remote Court Services Specialist will manage the filing and docketing of court-related documents, ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedures while providing administrative support to attorneys and case teams.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the service and filing of court documents in Federal, State, and Appellate Courts, ensuring compliance with all court rules
- Coordinate with the docket team to maintain and update the firm's docket system, tracking court deadlines and filing schedules
- Act as a point of contact with court clerks to confirm rules and facilitate the efficient processing of documents
Required qualifications
- An undergraduate degree is required; paralegal certification is preferred
- A minimum of two years of professional experience in a law firm or legal department, particularly in court filings or docket management
- Strong familiarity with litigation filing procedures and general knowledge of state and federal court procedures
- Proficiency in utilizing docketing software and knowledge of various court websites and document retrieval databases
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
