CPA Accountant

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time CPA Accountant will manage month-end close processes, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure compliance with GAAP while supporting finance staff and auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to the general ledger month-end close process and record monthly journal entries accurately
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger account balances, including intra-company payables and receivables
• Assist with internal control evaluations and resolve complex month-end reconciliations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline
• Minimum four years of related experience with strong knowledge of US GAAP
• CPA designation is required
• Knowledge of cost accounting principles and government contracting experience
• Must be a US citizen
