CPA Accountant

Job Summary

To support the month-end close process, the remote CPA Accountant will manage general ledger reconciliations, record journal entries, and assist with compliance audits while ensuring adherence to US GAAP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to a tight general ledger month-end close process and record monthly journal entries accurately
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger account balances monthly, including intra-company payables and receivables
• Provide support for compliance and auditors, including research and resolution of finance systems questions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline; or equivalent experience
• Minimum four (4) years of related experience with strong knowledge of US GAAP
• CPA designation required
• Knowledge of cost accounting principles and government contracting experience
• Must be a US citizen
