CPA Accounting Director

Job Summary

Owning full P&L accountability for multiple business unit segments, the full-time remote CPA Accounting Director will manage revenue, cost of services, and accounts receivable oversight while building a new team and partnering with finance and operations leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full P&L for business unit segments, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and cost of services accounting
• Collaborate with Finance Business Partners and segment leadership on financial transactions and revenue recognition processes
• Establish and lead the new BU (P&L) Accounting function, integrating staff from legacy organizations and driving process improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Required)
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (Required)
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, particularly in revenue accounting for services businesses (Required)
• 5+ years of experience leading accounting teams with P&L accountability in a multi-segment services organization (Required)
• Experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition and complex revenue arrangements (Required)
