CPA Accounting Lead
Job Summary
To support a growing accounting team, the full-time Accounting Lead (CPA) will manage month-end close processes, oversee revenue accounting, and prepare financial reports while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Own key areas of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in overseeing high-volume transaction processing and SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606)
- Prepare accurate financial statements and supporting schedules for management reporting and external audits
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in SaaS or high-volume tech environments
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or CPA candidate is a major plus
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with cloud ERPs; familiarity with Rillet and Stripe is advantageous
- Proven ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment
