CPA Accounting Leader

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Leader to manage the accounting function in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with NAIC Statutory Accounting Principles
• Lead the preparation and filing of statutory reports and manage the financial close process
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory examiners while ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• CPA designation (preferred)
• 7+ years of general accounting experience
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing accounting staff
• Strong knowledge of NAIC statutory accounting principles and regulatory reporting
