CPA Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager responsible for managing key accounting functions and overseeing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and oversee general ledger functions
• Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff while managing daily accounting operations
• Take ownership of month-end and year-end close, preparing accurate financial statements and leading quarterly reviews

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of GAAP
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
• CPA license is strongly preferred
• Proven experience in managing and developing accounting staff
• Proficiency with NetSuite and advanced Excel skills are preferred
