CPA Accounting Manager

Job Summary

CPA Accounting Manager, this fully remote, client-facing position is responsible for managing client relationships and delivering comprehensive accounting services for a portfolio of consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies, ensuring quality and timeliness in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned CPG clients, overseeing the entire monthly close cycle and ensuring deliverables are accurate and timely
• Manage trade promotion accruals, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition specific to multi-channel CPG businesses
• Direct the work of Associates and Senior Associates, providing feedback and managing client onboarding and service development

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; CPA is strongly preferred
• 4-7 years of accounting experience with direct ownership of month-end close, preferably in public accounting or outsourced accounting
• Hands-on experience with CPG accounting, including trade promotion and inventory valuation
• Familiarity with CPG brands and their accounting complexities across various sales channels
• Strong command of GAAP and experience in startup or growth-stage CPG contexts
