CPA Accounting Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing financial product line, the full-time salaried CPA Accounting Manager will own product accounting for loans, credit cards, and cash advances, rebuilding processes and driving the close while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Rebuild the accounting infrastructure to meet IPO-grade standards, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Own end-to-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, revenue recognition, and cash activity
• Partner with Engineering and FP&A to integrate proper accounting treatment into new products from inception

Required qualifications

• Deep expertise in fintech or financial services product accounting, particularly with loans, credit cards, or cash advances
• Experience in both high-growth startup and rigorous public company environments
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP across various product types
• CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP is a plus
