CPA Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of accountants, the full-time remote CPA Accounting Manager will oversee month-end close activities, ensure GAAP compliance, and drive process improvements while providing coaching and direction to team members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of journal entries and accruals
• Review and approve journal entries prepared by Senior and Staff Accountants, ensuring compliance and proper support
• Collaborate with Field Finance teams to develop and validate necessary journal entries and accruals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting
• Strong technical and analytical skills with demonstrated experience in GAAP and financial controls
• CPA preferred
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience
• Some supervisory experience or people management background
