CPA Accounting Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the remote CPA Accounting Manager will manage month-end close processes, ensure GAAP compliance in revenue recognition, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive accurate accounting outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own month-end close across assigned GL areas, focusing on accuracy and efficiency in journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis
• Develop a deep understanding of the company's revenue model to anticipate accounting implications of product and commercial decisions
• Build and maintain automation workflows using AI tools to streamline accounting processes and reduce manual work

Required qualifications

• CPA strongly preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with manager-level ownership over complex close processes
• Strong technical accounting foundation, particularly in ASC 606 and revenue recognition
• Demonstrated experience in building or deploying AI/automation tools for accounting tasks
• Proficiency in NetSuite or comparable ERP systems
