CPA Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Leading core accounting operations, the full-time remote CPA Accounting Manager will ensure the integrity of financial data, manage the month-end and year-end close processes, and mentor a small team while translating accounting insights to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the close and reporting cycle by leading month-end and year-end processes and preparing journal entries
• Lead and develop the accounting team, setting expectations and providing mentorship
• Strengthen financial accuracy and controls by maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and ensuring compliance with accounting principles

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, including leadership or supervisory responsibility
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices
• CPA strongly preferred
• Experience with enterprise accounting systems, with Workday experience being a plus
