CPA Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and process-driven, the full-time remote CPA Accounting Manager will manage accounting operations including procure to pay, record to report, and month-end close, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the month-end close process, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations while ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supporting audit requirements and maintaining GAAP compliance
• Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding and adherence to procurement policies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting
• Active CPA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Big Four audit experience
• In-house accounting experience at a growth-stage company
• Advanced Excel skills and fluency in Google Suite
