CPA Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Owning the accounting function in a full-time capacity, the Accounting Manager will manage the full close calendar, coordinate audit processes with external auditors, and oversee revenue recognition in a complex SaaS environment while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the full close calendar and manage accounting workstreams, including contractor oversight
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, managing audit workstreams and documentation
• Research and document accounting positions on complex transactions, ensuring compliance with ASC standards

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of accounting experience with at least one full external audit cycle (Big 4 or similar)
• Strong SaaS industry experience, particularly with ASC 606 revenue recognition
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and familiarity with ASC 842, 718, and 350-40
• Experience as a functional system owner for accounting tools; ERP proficiency required
• CPA strongly preferred; Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
