CPA Accounting Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing finance organization, the full-time remote CPA Accounting Manager will manage the monthly close process, prepare financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP, and enhance accounting workflows for improved efficiency and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Standardize and automate accounting workflows to improve operational efficiency and scalability
• Strengthen internal controls and prepare for annual audits and tax compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or active pursuit of CPA certification
• Five to eight years of progressively responsible accounting experience in public accounting or a high-growth company
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) framework
• Prior supervisory experience with the ability to manage and develop team members
