CPA Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Leading core accounting operations, the full-time remote Accounting Manager will supervise the accounting team, ensure timely completion of monthly close activities, and maintain accurate financial reporting while enhancing internal controls and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and oversee monthly close activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting deliverables
• Prepare and review monthly close entries and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain accurate accounting records
• Establish and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance accuracy and risk management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance preferred
• CPA certification required
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years managing direct reports
• Experience in professional services and recurring billing environments preferred
• Working knowledge of ERP environments and accounting systems conversions
