CPA Accounting Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the full-time Accounting Manager, GL & Close will drive the monthly close process, manage complex accounting areas, and develop team members while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Push the close forward by owning critical-path workstreams and ensuring timely completion
• Prepare complex and judgmental areas such as stock-based compensation, leases, and payroll accounting
• Review established areas and set quality standards while coaching the Senior Accountant

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with hands-on ownership of technical close areas
• Active CPA preferred, with a background in Big 4 or national firms being a plus
• Deep operational US GAAP fluency, particularly in areas requiring significant judgment
• Hands-on ERP and systems experience, including comfort with equity administration and close tooling
• Demonstrated AI-native working style, utilizing AI tools in daily accounting tasks
