CPA Accounting Manager
Job Summary
To support a growing finance team, the full-time remote CPA Accounting Manager will manage key balance sheet accounts, oversee journal entries and reconciliations, and ensure compliance with accounting standards while mentoring accounting staff.
Key responsibilities
- Own key balance sheet accounts and lead reconciliation processes for timely resolution of discrepancies
- Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations prepared by accounting staff
- Establish and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls while supporting strategic projects
Required qualifications
- BS/BA in Accounting required; CPA preferred
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in both public accounting and corporate accounting environments
- Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
- Demonstrated ownership of the month-end close process with advanced proficiency in MS Office applications
- Healthcare company experience preferred
